Sigh, today was not fun. I am just glad that I won't remember much of any of it. I went to see the allergist this morning. After being patient while they asked Mommy a million questions, the medical student and the doctor checked me out. They prescribed me one medicine and said they needed to do blood work to see what type of food, if any, that my body is not liking right now. The nurse came in to take my blood, but she couldn't find my vein. We had to go around the corner to where the lab is located, and it took two nurses and Mommy to hold me down to get the blood. I was crying, Mommmy was crying...it was overall very draining. I charmed every nurse, medical student, and doctor that came my way today.
Then we went to the police station to install my new car seat. I'm officially 19 lbs. 7 ounces and 26.5 inches long. I am ready for the new seat! Officer Kelly was happy to meet me and train Daddy and Mommy on some safety tips and how to work the new seat. I charmed all of the police officers!
For the rest of the afternoon/evening, I played with Mommy and took a snooze. It won't be long now until she is home with me all of the time. Life will go back to being the way it was when I was born. Don't worry, Grandma. We will come visit often!
Mommy made me green beans this morning before we went to the doctor, so I was able to eat those for dinner tonight. They weren't bad when they were mixed with some grains and milk. I wasn't that excited about them plain. I guess that's better than Mommy. She told me green beans was the one veggie that she did not like when she was little!
Tomorrow we will do everything that was on our list of things to do today that did not get done since we spent three hours at the doctor! Have a nice weekend everyone!

I am crying just thinking about you and Anthony a the DR. I hope he gets some relief soon and I am interested to find out what the culprit allergen is!
Oh Katie, that's awful. I know how miserable the blood drawing stuff can be for mommy and baby, we went through the same kind of thing with Mari. I hope he's doing well.
