I'm 1 !

Wow, so this is what a birthday is all about. Daddy was off of work, and he spent the whole day with Mommy and me. We had a blast! I started off the morning opening up my birthday present from my parents. St. Nicholas paid our home a visit last night, too! Mommy told me that he usually comes and leaves goodies inside the shoes or stockings of good boys and girls around the world on the night of his feast day, Decemeber 6th. He knows that we are going to be very busy tomorrow, so he decided to stop by early. You can see in the video what I received. Next, we went into the city and had breakfast at a Pakistani restaurant on Devon Ave. My final treat was to go downtown to see the Christmas Tree and Nativity scene in Daley Plaza as well as the windows at Macy's. This was so much fun! We ran into Mommy and Daddy's friends, Lauren and Kevin there. I'm so glad that Kevin spotted Daddy!



I really learned what a birthday is all about today. It's not about what you receive, but more so about spending the day that you were born with people who love you. Mommy and Daddy celebrated the day God brought me into the world to share in their happiness as well as to serve His people. What a wonderful day we had!
