Today was day 2 of Welcome Days here at LU. I feel bittersweet. I'm sad to see my first summer come to an end (Well, I'm told this wasn't really what summer usually feels like here) but I'm happy to see all of the college kids coming back to campus. The first year students are all here and enjoying their first few days on our beautiful campus. So, since we were minus Daddy again today, Mommy figured we should go to our public library. Daddy wouldn't mind missing out on that one. We picked up a few books that I don't already have in my collection. Mommy read 2 to me while we were there and we brought a few home. The book Who Am I? made me roar with laughter today. Once we got home, Mommy sat with me on the bed and read to me. This book was really funny. I'm holding it in the third picture here. It doesn't have many words, but it's a peek a boo book. There are two holes cut out through the whole book. Each page has a huge animal head on it and Mommy put her eyes in the holes so it looked like she was a zebra, elephant, etc. Every time I saw her eyes as another animals I giggled this deep beer belly laugh. I suggest this book to all of my friends out there. Mommy will add it to my Shelfari widget to the right. If you click through the books, you should see it.
