Phew...what a day it was. Mommy and I headed back to her neighborhood to do some work for St. Constance. We hit a whole bunch of businesses and asked them to hang our signs in their windows. We only had 1 turn us down. Sweet! Mr. Fred in the Sicilian Bakery tried to give me a cookie while I ran around the place. It was great fun. He asked me to come back next Tuesday so he take some pictures of me with a big bowl of spaghetti. Little does he know that I'm allergic. Can you imagine that? A part Italian boy like me...allergic to pasta. It should be a fun experience though.
Then we headed over to the school. I had fun walking around the front foyer of my Mommy's former school while she chatted in the office. I was a bit of a risk taker in the rectory. I tried to open a few cabinets, get down the steps, get into a few piles of paper, and grab a sweet treat from Father Ted and one of the secretaries. Mommy shut all of that fun down. Hmph.
We ended up at GG's for a late lunch and an afternoon of fun. They cut coupons and I played with the IPhone and my truck. Finally, we headed to SPFD to see Uncle Peter. It was too late for him and Mommy to have their meeting, but hey, I got to see him, give him his (God)father's day present a little early, and check out the trucks. Awesome! Next time I won't be so sleepy, and I'll enjoy it for all the thrill that it is.
Look how hungry I was at dinner time. I didn't have time to waste sitting down or even putting my bowl down. I ate standing up and didn't put my bowl down once.
What a great day! Summer rocks!
