Alleluia!! Jesus is Risen!

Mommy told me the story again this year. Friday afternoon we went to her former church/school in Chicago to watch the 8th graders perform the Living Stations of the Cross and we saw Jesus die on the cross. But on the third day, the tomb was empty because Jesus is ALIVE! HOORAY!! What a great ending to the story! I want to hear it again and again.

Mommy said we must celebrate this great day in a special way. So, Mommy and Daddy went to church, then I hunted for Easter eggs, and then we headed to Aunt Mary's for a delicious Easter lunch. I was able to see my Grandmas, aunts, uncles, and cousins. It was a beautiful day. Aunt Mary makes so much food. I am amazed. I ate the lamb, but that was about it this year. Hopefully next year some of the food allergies will be history and I'll be able to eat some more of her yummy food.

Jesus is alive, and lives within all of our hearts. Let Him be visible to all you meet.
